FAIR TRADE ORGANIC HAND KNIT STUFFED ANIMALS AND APPAREL MADE AT SMALL PERUVIAN COOPERATIVES

My 2 year old daughter received the most adorable hand knit stuffed animal recently from "Grandma Wisconsin" who lives in Madison. We knew it was the softest thing we'd ever felt as soon as we gave Cutie the Lamb its first squeeze. Organic Cutie the Lamb is a "Jooble" from Fair Indigo in Madison, WI. Joobles are adorable, cushy, hand knit stuffed animals made from soft organic yarn and certified safe dyes. There is even a completely dye-free Teddy Bear. This all-natural, dye-free "Fair Bear" can be dressed up in dye-free t's and organic pants which are also available in coordinating infant and toddler sizes. The Joobles line also features matching blankies, hats, mittens sets and sweaters. These Joobles and other hand knit organic babywear are made in fair trade Peruvian cooperatives. Children of cooperative workers are helped by the Fair Indigo Foundation, which provides educational programs and supplies. More on fair trade apparel at www.fairindigo.com.
