Baby Wipes: Review of Kirkland Signature All Natural Fiber Baby Wipes
ULTRA-SOFT BIODEGRADABLE BABY WIPES MADE FROM TENCEL
Reviewed by Maria Plasterer 11/15/2009
Costco has recently come out with their own version of a deluxe eco-friendly baby wipe. Tencel is an ultra-soft biodegradable fiber which is made from 100% renewable resources. Tencel is made from the cellulose inside trees, which is naturally absorbent and renewable. The trees are grown on non-arable land without the need for pesticides or fertilizers. Tencel’s manufacturing process is rated more eco-friendly than other fibers and has a carbon footprint smaller than that of cotton manufacturing. The bulk box from Costco comes with 9 individually wrapped packages which can be stashed in every room of the house, both diaper bags, grandma's house and the car. The whole box totals 900 alcohol free wipes. These wipes work great in the wipes warmer with a little water added.
