Step Stool: Review of KidKraft Step 'N Store Stool

WIDE AND STABLE WOODEN STEP STOOL WITH STORAGE

The Kidkraft Step 'N Store wooden is a reliable step stool for independent tooth brushing and hand washing of an older toddler at a standard height bathroom sink. It's stable and wide with 2 low steps up. Because it has some weight to it (8.65lbs) and a low center of gravity, it's will not easily tip over. My daughter of average height was stretching a little to reach the bathroom faucet on the Step 'N Store at 2 1/2, and could easily reach by 3. It's made of a high quality MDF (medium-density fibreboard), rubberwood and veneer. The Step 'N Store comes in a whole bunch of fun colors, has side carry handles and a flip top storage compartment. The storage lid is equipped with a safety hinge which keeps the lid from slamming shut. We have the vanilla color which comes off as a nice off-white and blends well in a neutral colored bathroom. I was surprised by how nice looking the wood veneer is. You might want to add anti-slip grips to the bottom if you will be using this step stool on tile.
